A good first container is a market test, not a warehouse bet: 10+ units across 3–5 models that cover your two most likely segments, a model-matched spare-parts package in the same container, export documents confirmed before production, and payment tied to the pre-shipment production video (PSPV).

Compose by Segment, Not by Preference

Pick the two segments most likely to move in your market — for example city commuting plus delivery, or family passenger pods plus small-business cargo — and take 3–5 models across them. A container of ten identical units tells you nothing about the rest of the range and concentrates risk on one price point.

CBU or SKD for the First Order?

CBU (complete built-up) is the usual starting point for a first container: vehicles arrive ready to sell. SKD or CKD changes the cube and, in some markets, the duty position. Piece count for a 20GP or 40HQ depends on the models, the knockdown level, and the packing. Request a loading plan — this page does not publish a unit count.

Parts, Documents and Payment Milestones

Confirm the document set (CI, PL, B/L, CO, Form E for ASEAN, UN38.3 + MSDS for lithium) before production starts. Standard terms are a 30–50% T/T deposit with the balance against the PSPV — you see your actual units on video before paying the balance. Lead time is 7–15 working days (15–20 for larger orders).
